How would I ship electronics to the Philippines without worrying about theft?

j rivers asked:

I used to work at _______ that ships balikbayan boxes to the Philippines. I wouldn't really trust them when it came to shipping electronics because of theft. Especially when Philippines customs checks the packages. Does anyone know if Fed ex or UPS would be a safe alternative?

Definitely FedEx and UPS are safer alternatives. These are global shipping companies with many years of experience and with a solid reputation to uphold. It might cost you more but peace of mind does have its price.
